These two non-identical, handwoven place matts in blue are especially lovely in the sun and make a nice table feature. The slight denim- pattern was an effect from the warp, in which some of the yarn was tied up to resist indigo dye, and when woven later, leave the white areas noticeable. The split two-tone was created by hand at the loom featuring long fringes, intended to tangle or overlap. Sold together.
